Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 bugs/miscellany Last Updated September 25th, 2009 12:27 Central ----------------------------------------------- Results Screen: * Nagata Lock shows up as "&207ローク" if used to win a match. * Nagata Lock II shows up as "&207ロークⅡ" if used to win a match. * Match ranking is hard limited to 99 wins. I assume the most matches one could be in if the wrestler won, lost, and got in time draws would be 297, but I don't want to test this. * If you have a color modifier on and you move past color 0 to the left, it will reset. passing 31 to the right will keep it. This doesn't happen in WM2K (can't wrap) or No Mercy (wrapping works perfectly). * Eliminating someone in a Battle Royal under the following conditions: 1) You have Falls Count Anywhere turned on (eliminations can happen outside) 2) You play as a shootfighter and beat someone outside with a beatdown submission causes the game to send out a clone of Player 1 (formerly theorized as your player, meaning whomever got submitted first becomes the clone) instead. * I'm not sure if this is correct, but if you eliminate someone in a Battle Royal as a Shootfighter using one of the pound into submission methods, it will cause the game to mess up the order. This was tested in Team and Random modes. After it messes up the order, you can't win, since someone will enter on a slot that is already eliminated, and won't re-activate. Said AI player will want to enter the ring, but may not. I've also seen default looking characters enter with the moveset of other wrestlers as well. Crazy stuff. * If you end a 1v1 match with a player controlling a manager, the game will freeze on a white screen. Only VPW2 has this problem. Doing the same thing in Revenge, WM2K, or No Mercy won't crash the game.
